KVIE Salutes Wellspring Women’s Center

Part of the proceeds from the September 27th Women On The Move Conference will go to Wellspring Women’s Center, a drop-in center for low income women in Oak Park.

Check out a short video by KVIE Public television and Masterpiece Circle member Sheri Stuckey, profiling the Wellspring Women’s Center.  It can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiB1bkyIgPg.  Then join us in supporting this worthy organization by bringing feminine hygiene items and individual packets of cereal to the conference on Saturday, Sept. 27th.  We will also have some silent auction items and will be taking donations to purchase items for the center during the conference.

See you there!

I was honored that Sharon Lechter agreed to present…

at our 1st Annual Women On The Move Conference. She provided so much vaulauble information on how she made Rich Dad Poor Dad a success. Her presentation showed us how to think out of the box and pointed out the economic shift – women are starting more businesses, buying more real estate and having a huge impact on the market.

Women On The Move Video

Women On The Move: live, learn, inspire™

Speaking of inspiring women, we had the pleasure of producing a 60-second video short for Women on the Move, an organization committed to helping women “live, learn, inspire”.  This video short promotes their upcoming 2008 annual conference that will knock the socks off women attendees – check out the video at:  http://womenonthemovenow.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

Lady’s Who Lunch

What a great idea!
I was invited to a Lady’s who Lunch event. Barbara, with Brightfarm Productions, invites a small group of people to have lunch, get to know each other, network and brainstorm to solve some key problems.

Ladies who Lunch
In this difficult market it is so important to change your marketing strategies, your advertising focus, change how to build your clientele list and so much more. How can you do that? You must build relationships not just a database. The lunch provided the perfect opportunity to do just that. The group was small so we each had time to introduce ourselves and just get to know each other.

Thanks for inviting me…Lisa

A Word From A Women On The Move Sponsor

Barbara Beal-Lopez, The Elevator Pitch Coach, and President of Brightfarm Productions, is a sponsor of the Women On The Move Conference and produced the video short that gives you a quick peek at this inspiring event.

Barbara believes that everything in business starts with an introduction and she specializes in working with business professionals who want to introduce themselves with high impact.  She does this in the following ways:
Elevator Pitch (or networking commercial) Coaching:  Your verbal “commercial” or introduction is your #1 marketing tool you use at networking events.  Barbara can create your “Elevator Pitch”, and teach you a system for customizing it and delivering it comfortably and effectively.
Video Shorts:  Barbara can take your commercial BIG TIME and make it visual with a 30-second or 60-second Video Short that you can use to introduce your business through E-mail, Websites, Trade shows, and even Television!
